Our group started out to make new banners for the church.

We meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month at around 10 am to whenever. The day usually consists of morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea with lots of talk and laughter and sewing and fellowship.

We have made a few banners and then when the bush fires hit Victoria in early 2009 we decided we would make quilts and rugs to donate to the victims.

After discussion it was decided we would send our contributions to a local Anglican church in the bush fire area. So far we have sent about 12 rugs/quilts.
